The new Fiandre Maximum porcelain large format tiles and slabs left Italian shores for South Africa just before they where hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Safely on the water they sailed to SA only to be “locked down” on arrival. Now awaiting release on 4 May, when we are hopefully able to return to our beautiful showroom and continue our business of creating beautiful living spaces.
The reason we are so excited to unpack these new large format slabs is that yet again Fiandre as stepped up to the next level of replicating naturals stones and gem stones. It is virtually impossible to tell the difference between the real stone and the porcelain slab.
We are most excited about the new Agata Maximum range part of the Maxi Gems collection. Agata Black, Blu and Atena are the 3 colours in the 3 x 1.5m large format.
These slabs are not only aesthetically unique but most importantly are produced in a sustainable manner. The manufacturing process takes place with minimal environmental impact and generates no by-products. Added to this are the low maintenance benefits of using sinterd porcelain slabs.
The entire Fiandre Maximum slab collection offers the low maintenance benefits, making them a easy choice for almost any application. As a comparison to natural stone, in polished natural stone slabs the polish will wear off with foot traffic and cleaning and will therefore needs to be re-polished over time. Sealing is also required regularly to prevent staining. In both these areas polished porcelain slabs out perform natural stone. Requiring no re-polishing and no sealing. In addition ,porcelain slabs are also heat resistant and therefore can also be used as a counter top surface.
Also new to the Maximum Marmi collection is the exotic marbles, White Beauty and Grey Beauty. Grey Beauty is an elegant contrast of white and grey shades and a unique design that brings real character to any space or décor. The polished finish gives depth to the colour and beauty to the details of this rare and exotic texture. Whilst the White beauty draws inspiration from a refined Asian marble characterized by white, green, grey and black feldspars.
The addition of these new ranges now brings the marble effect Maximum porcelain large format porcelain slab to 24 options. Studio Masson offers all these 24 slabs, beautifully showcased in full size in our Paarden Eiland showroom. Contact us during COVID-19 lockdown to find out more
